Overview

Ambient Weather is an independent application separate from Sunsynk, but it can be seamlessly integrated into the Weather Info section to access meteorological data. While we are not affiliated with Ambient Weather, it has been included to cater to users who have purchased the application and wish to utilize it for real-time weather updates specific to their location.

Locating the Integration Point:

You can only find this option in the Sunsynk.net Portal by going into the Overview screen of your plant and clicking the yellow box on the Weather Info. section at the top right corner of the page.

When you click on the yellow box, a popup will appear in the center of the screen, providing you with information about Ambient Weather.

After clicking Next step, you will be directed to the following screen where you can enter the Application key and API key provided by Ambient Weather upon purchase (Please note that this is a separate purchase from Sunsynk).

Once you’ve entered the necessary information, simply click Confirm, and the integration process will be finalised. To verify its activation, click on the yellow box once more, and you’ll notice the gray box has transitioned from Not Enabled to a green Enabled status.
