High-Voltage - BMU Screen Shows a Different Voltage to the Inverter Battery Voltage

The 50kW inverter has 2 battery inputs as below:

If using HV battery racks they should be connected as shown:

If the voltage on the battery display does not match the voltage shown on the inverter or the battery voltage is fluctuating up and down rapidly it is possible that the batteries may be connected to the wrong inputs. For example:

This configuration or other similar mixing of the battery inputs will cause a mismatch between the voltage recorded at the inverter and the voltage recorded at the batteries and the system will not operate correctly. 

 

The respective BMS communications should be connected to the correct BMS inputs in the inverter also. BMS 1 corresponding with BAT1 and BMS2 corresponding with BAT2. 

  

Please take care to ensure that each battery stack is connected only to its respective battery terminals.
