What is low noise mode?

On your inverter the default switching speed of the internal electronics of the inverter is 15kHz.

When low noise mode is enabled the switching speed of the internal electronics of the inverter becomes 20kHz.

How is low noise mode enabled?

On Sunsynk Connect:

The setting can be found in battery settings.

On the inverter display:

The setting can be found in the advanced settings menu under the ‘Others’ tab.

When should low noise mode be used?

Low noise mode is intended to be used when there is any form of radio interference coming from the inverter that effects the use of other electrical appliances in your home, (i.e. electric vehicle chargers, kitchen appliances, television remoted). It does NOT change the audible noises from the inverter such (i.e. fan sounds, relay clicks).

Can this setting be enabled on a three-phase unit?

Currently it is not possible to enable low noise mode on a three-phase unit on Sunsynk Connect or on the inverter display. This feature however can be enabled remotely by a Sunsynk technician – please create a support ticket to request this.
