HV Battery Connection Methods

Created by Bryonie Simon, Modified on Tue, 25 Nov at 12:27 PM by Bryonie Simon

When connecting high-voltage batteries there are 2 different methods of connection.

Method 1:

Connecting racks independently and utilising independent BMS communications (recommended)

This configuartion works for the connection of 1 or 2 battery racks. In this configuration both battery stacks operate independently and pull through their own individual BMU data.

Parallel bat1&bat2 must be disabled in the settings.

Method 2:

Paralleling the battery inputs and linking BMS communications between battery racks.

This configuration works for one or more battery connections. In this configuration the BMS is shared between battery stacks and a combined BMU data is pulled through.

Parallel bat1&bat2 MUST BE ENABLED in the settings.
