*Please note that the Eastron functionality is available on the Lifelynk XL ONLY.
**The Eastron Meter Model we have used for testing purposes is the Eastron SDM630MCT.
1. Wire the live into port 4 (L1) .
2. Wire the neutral into port 1 (N).
3. Create a bridge between port 1 (N) and port 6 (NA).
4. Create a bridge between Port 4 (L1) and port 5 (LA).
5. Connect the CT coil, back into Port 19 (1-S2) and connect the white into port 20 (1-S1).
6. Using CAT-5/CAT-6 cable use the blue and blue/white and move the others out the way or cut back.
7. Connect the blue and white to port 14 (TX+A)
8. Connect the blue to port 13 (TX-B)
9. On the other end of the CAT-5 cable use a RJ45 connector and slot the blue cable into pin 4 and the blue and white cable into pin 5. Crimp this end using a crimping tool to ensure the connection is solid.
10. Connect the RJ45 to the 'Remote CT' connection on the bottom of the Lifelynk XL.
11. The smart meter mode then needs to be enabled on the Lifelynk. Press the settings button to enter the settings menu.
12. Select Advanced Settings
13. Select the system configuration settings.
14. Set the Export Control mode to ‘Smart Meter’.
15. To check the Lifelynk is reading the Eastron data, on the Lifelynk home screen press the return button once. In the CT power box you should see the power reading that is displayed on your Eastron Meter.
